I need to remove the “user.config” file which gets created for user level
settings in my window app. This file is getting created under
%localappdata%\Company Name\StrongKey\ProductVersion folder.
I have written the following to delete this file:
cripts that are part of MSI
packages generated using WIX 3.0. My requirement is to track the SQL scripts
versioning in order to decide whether to include them in the patch package or
not.

Subject: [WiX-users] Versioning of SQL Scripts in WIX 3.0
Hi All,
Do we have a w
using WIX 1.0. Can the same be done using WIX 2.0? Say suppose we
just want to add three new file tags in the Target MSI & then try
building patch using this upgraded MSI as the Target MSI of the patch
creation process.
Thanks & Regards

Hi Bob,
We tried updating an existing MSI using WIX 2.0 but I wasn't able to
find out the way to do it. Please suggest how we can update the existing
MSI. Is any such functionality is there in WIX 2.0.
Thanks & Regards
