In the preprocessor doc (for V2), an exclamation seem not to be
explained there.
Could someone point me to some docs on this, please?

Thanks. Well I guess I was just playing with the tools. In case others
are interested, I figured out that you can disable the UIExtension by
modifying the dark.exe.config (that will result in the UI being part
of the resulting wxs file.
Ja
someone explain?
I am using Version 3.

Using
-trace that dark generates in V3, it should be
considered as a bug-report.

for each component: "FeaInstall", "FeaCopy"
"FeaInstall" will always be installed, i.e. it installs the
"MyFile.xsd".
"FeaCopy" will be installed if and only if VS2005 is present.
So the the file to be copied in the is specified by FileId,
which
t
copying a file, by installing/uninstalling the parent
component. However, when the parent component does not contain any
other elements than a CopyFile, I get the above error.
Can someone tell me what it means? and what I should do to resolve it?

Yeah, I guess this was a heavy motivator for inventing Merge Modules.
Regarding creation of GUIDs for components, I made another post to
this list.

I am not expert in building MSBuild tasks, but is it possible to have

The link to "WiX on sourceForge" is incorrect (it does not work). The
fix is obvious.

May I suggest that the Wix samples are included in the Wix3.msi

I wonder what PojectAggregator2.msi is for.
Wix3.msi cannot install until PojectAggregator2.msi is installed.
What ever is installed with PojectAggregator2.msi, I wonder why this
is not part of Wix3.msi installation procedure.
