I upgraded to WiX v3.6 from v3.5 earlier this week and started trying to
implement Burn as a replacement for dotnetinstaller.
So far it's pretty easy to get a chain of packages configured & I really like
how well done it is (great job everyone involved =) ).

Not a lot of documentation on extensions in general. There is the default
Binder File Manager in light that might provide some guidance.

You'll need to create an External UI Handler. Lot of work. You could also
look at creating a Bootstrapper Application for Burn which is also a good
bit of work but is mcuh easier to do IMHO and you get lots of other
benefits from Burn.

That bug is the bug to fix the issue in WiX v4 (which we want to do).
The bug I was asking for was to document how to enable the disabled
feature. I think Timothy has at least one of the steps.

In a patch (small/minor update), you cannot add existing components to a new
