Can you post some Wix code you are using? Is it possible that the shortcut
gets modified somehow (maybe it links to DOS command which automatically
modifies .lnk to .pif files)

I'm using wix 2.0 to create an installer for my application. When installing,
everything is ok. But when uninstalling, something strange happens.

This not only affects Libraries, but also Merge Modules.
If you used heat.exe to generate your help.wxs, then it most likely contains a
ComponentGroup, which includes all the generated components. The components
should be included into a feature. The easiest way to do this is to reference
this ComponentGroup from your main.wxs.
