The problem listed below is not a bug - it's just a change in how 3.0 works.
What problem are you experiencing with 2.0?

Does anyone know a status on this bug? I am experiencing the same problem

We moved to 4221 from 3309 (where it worked) to implement MessageQueue
functionality, but may have to revert if there is not a solution to this
problem.

Please keep wix-users on the thread.
You need to pass in -ext WixIIsExtension for the
candle/lit/light command lines now. No non-standard functionality is
baked into the wix tools anymore – everything has been moved out into
extensions.

I looked at the installation log and MSI thinks
mscomm32.ocx needs to be installed and it installs it without error. So I
did a regedit export of the registry then manually registered the mscomm32.ocx
using reg
I have created a patch file
(Update.msp) which replaces one dll which is part of a COM+ application. The patch
works fine on a Windows Server 2000 virtual machine, but not 2003 Server. The
error indicates that the patch is unable to save the COM+ application.
