"xyz".I rebuild source code it build successfully and "xyz.dll" file generate

I had downloaded wireshark-1.0.3 source code and added new plugin for protocol
"xyz".I rebuild source code it build successfully and "xyz.dll" file generate.
Is it possible to load the same "xyz.dll" to other wireshark.exe releases
without rebuilding the source code.
