Hi,
I am unable to compile wireshark-1.6.5 source code due to the following error.
Build environment is Linux RHEL5. The compilation machine is not connected to
the internet.
Is there a way to bypass this step ?
/usr/bin/perl ./tools/make-services.pl

Hi All,
I have a query related to the support of "Ethernet OAM" decoding in Wireshark.
Ethernet OAM is a set of protocols which include mechanisms for detecting and
localizing faults, and monitoring Ethernet based networks.
Specifically, there are two parts:
1) Link Layer OAM: standarized in IEE
Hi,
Is RFC 5086 dissector available in Wireshark, or anyone working on this ?
RFC 5086 is for Time Division Multiplexed (TDM) Circuit Emulation Service over
Packet Switched Network (CESoPSN).
It provides a method for encapsulating structured Time Division Multiplexed
(TDM) signals as pseudowire
Hi,
Is this dissector code for "RTP multiplexed streams" submitted to Wireshark ?
What is the bug number ?
Thanks,

Hi,
I have a protocol (lets call it "myproto") that runs atop TCP, and myproto
messages are coming split across multiple TCP segments.
I have to reassemble myproto messages, that are variable in size.
myproto message header does not contain any length information about the total
size of myproto
Hi,
Has anyone tried capturing E1 TDM data (LAPD/HDLC and plain voice/data traffic
on E1) with Wireshark
and Sangoma A102/104 cards.
Is it possible to do E1/T1 real-time capturing with Wireshark with Sangoma
E1/T1 cards ?
Are there any other NICs available that can do this ?

Hi,
I have built Wireshark from source on my Linux RHEL 4 system, that has libpcap
version 0.8.3 installed.
But when I try to run this Wireshark on a Linux system with RHEL 5 (libpcap
version 0.9.4), I get an error:
"error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.0.8.3: cannot open shared

Hi,
Is there support for capturing and dissecting ATM traffic in Wireshark ?
Particularly for direct ATM traffic, for example ATM -> AAL2/AAL5 ->
SSCOP/FP/other protocols.
I saw packet-atm.c, but I think it has support for LANE only (LAN emulation
over ATM).
How does the current packet-atm.c w
Hi,
I have raised a bug # 2651 for Iupc PCAP protocol dissector. The capture file
is also attached in bugzilla.
This is an ASN.1 based dissector.
The error shown is

assertion "hfinfo->type == FT_UINT64"

Hi,
I have built and made an rpm package on RHEL 4 (wireshark 0.99.7 source).
Then I installed the rpm on Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon (using alien).
But wireshark crashes when I open the Preferences window.
Below is the backtrace.
Looks like some library problem.
Any pointers ?

Hi,
Are the dissectors for 3GPP NAS protocols: MM, GMM, CC (3GPP TS 24.008) available in the current release of Wireshark ?
If yes, then which file(s) to look for.
Another question is how to hook the NAS protocols dissectors to RRC and RANAP.
Thanks & Regards,
Munish

being).

Could you pls share the details of the approach you took with FP. What kind
of "filled-in-struct", and how it can be filled from NBAP configuration
messages.
For RLC/MAC also, I
Hi,
Is anybody working on dissectors for 3GPP-UMTS- RLC and MAC protocols ?
Or are these dissectors already available somewhere ?
Thanks & Regards,
