Hello,
I noticed that actual release versions of wireshark that can be downloaded
online do not include a libwireshark.lib file, but they do include a
libwireshark.dll. Does this mean that the only possible way to compile a
wireshark plugin is by compiling all of wireshark source first? Or

Hi,
Also have a look at doc/README.plugin to see what you need to do to incorporate

example for your reference.
Just grep profinet in Makefile.am, configure.in etc. will give your some
useful info.

Didier,
Thanks a lot for quick response. I will give a try now.

Thanks,
Govind

Hello,
I'm try to write my first dissector plugin for wireshark.
To start I read the chapter 9.2 and 9.2.1 in the developer's guide. Now I has
this files in my plugin dir:
|-- Makefile.am
|-- Makefile.common
|-- Makefile.in
|-- Makefile.nmake
|-- moduleinfo.h
|-- moduleinfo.nmake
|-- packet-dpne
On my Mac, I noticed that the ChmodBPF script didn't seem to have any
effect on the permissions of my /dev/bpf files. After reading through
the script, I realized that the function declaration and the later
function call differed in name The function is defined by the name
StartService() ,
Hi,
If I remember correctly the header dissection in gtp is a bit iffy and
could do with a rewrite
if some one has the time... On the other hand there is no bug reports
about the dissection...
