Does someone knows which RFC describes the use of PIBs and COPS relation to SMI?
Given the fact that I'll had to get my hands into the COPS dissector
(to have it using the new oids infrastructure so we can finally drop
net-snmp) and I've never seen a packet of this protocol I would need

Ulf,
First - Great stuff! I finally got around to adding this to a proprietary
dissector to try it out. For example, in a small capture file of around 15000
packets, I wanted to pick out 5 particular packets of interest. This could
have been accomplished by searching for these packets of

I just submitted a patch to bug #1793 (mp2t: Call the mpeg-pes
dissector) that allows the MPEG TS dissector (mp2t) to call the MPEG
PES dissector (mpeg-pes). It doesn't support any desegmentation yet,
but that can wait for a future patch, and it still useful just as is.

The question is can winpcap capture on a virtual interface of a virtual machine?
I think it is waiting for a click (as it happened already in the past).
I think tests that assume anything being available on the system
should be run with by a special target but not by the "all" target.

can you download a recent snapshot and verify if it gets rid of the problem?
if not can you open a bug for it?

Hi,
I am currently adding a capture engine to sniff i2c traffic.
I am currently adding this code into Linux using the pcap_linux
mechanism (like Bluetooth and USB).
My question is (and I am not currently sure if it's Wireshark or
libpcap) why do I get calls to my function xx

No, I did. I change d the parameterlist of a function that was used in
packet-snmp.c and normally the right way to do this is to change the

Hi,
I'm wondering how hard it is to implement Wireshark's "Follow TCP Stream"
feature. Basically, I need to do this myself because 1. I have large data
files that Wireshark can't handle and 2. I need to do this automatically,
because there are a large number of streams in the data. What I would li

I I haven't checked in neither the regenerated packet-snmp.c nor the
changes in the makefiles or other files that (will) depend on oids.c
to build. I plan doing so this weekend.
