I have tried both the current GA release 0.99.5 tarball and the "trunk" svn
release called 0.99.6 in config.nmake.
Both behaved the same when installed on a W2k. wireshark.exe not a valid
Win32 application.
Thanks.

I've noticed a problem recently where the expression building dialog
hangs when launched from the file open dialog after you click on filter

console error arising from a bad cast - bug 1334 (I have a fix ready for

The 0.99.6 trunk has been created. I plan on releasing 0.99.6pre1 some
time late next week, followed by 0.99.6 the week after (around the
28th). If any checkins need to be copied from /trunk to /trunk-0.99.6,
please add them to the 0.99.6 pending list at

It's OK for the AuthenticationInfo.
I will try to launch an "campaign" to detect other decoding problems,
but only once the gsmmap.cnf file will be updated.
Because, at the present time, I have to many errors with messages
containing the private plmn container.
Thank's for your correction.

Hi there!
I am developing a dissector for a PLC communication protocol which is
transported via tcp or udp.
For correct interpretation it is necessary to know the question to a
reply, i.e. i need to access the data from one of the previous packets.
Is there some mechanism that i can use?

Hi,
What version of Wireshark are you trying to build?
From SVN, tarball, 0.99.5 sources?
There was some discussions previously about "manifest" files missing
from the installer.
Which may be fixed now.

I wanted to make a change in the gsmmap template files, for the

But I can not generate the files again from the ASN1 directory.
I did update the Unix Makefile to have the same inputs as the windows
