I am aware that /var/www/html is not the same as /var/www/html/weewx.
Under html is my joomla Homepage and under html/weewx should weather data
go. That worked fine with version 4.10.2
I made again a new installation in the meantime, version 5. with the same
permission problem.

according installation guide.
Weewx installs:

I have spent hours to solve this permission problems on version 5. I had
tested all with a new installation on a sep. SSD. After installing an
Apache server and a dummy CMS I get the the same permission errors. Don't
ask me why.
