[web2py] jqGrid: Pager's pgtext input textbox too wide

Trying to include jqGrid in a page and realized that the pager's pgtext (showing Page # of ##) is too wide and causing some of the information on the pager layer not visible. After some digging, realized that it is because of a property setting in /static/css/base.css as follow, =
