* We can make it a link of the side-bar that is alway there to remind us
that we have an option to upgrade apps if we have not done so. It
would be non-intrusive. The actual popup to point us to the link would
appear only once.
*I think this is the best solution.

Spam? This is really a bad thing! But I think that the "spam" problem exists
on some group and not
in all reddit system. Groups are moderated by the creator and some people
chosen by the creator itself, so I don't
think that we will have problems if we create our own group web2py group

This is the script, I've only added libapache2-mod-wsgi, now I'm trying to
execute the script
in my secondary pc.
But: why do you install python 2.5 and not the default 2.6?

If we add: libapache2-mod-wsgi ?

I've installed web2py on "arch linux" and I only needed to download
web2py. It was really really easy... :-) I think that Python is already
included
on default installation of Ubuntu. This script could be interesting
because, as I see, it install and configure Apache. You think that

But in layout.html I see:

You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups
"web2py-users" group.
If you see the source code of index.html generated by
the server do you see:
?
Do you use this syntax to insert layout.html in your index.html?
{{extend 'layout.html'}}

No, I think the manual method is better. Perhaps we could
insert an advise similar to the one used on
The script to convert layouts is available somewhere? I could be more
interested in converting the template I like than
to search thousands of layouts selected by someone else.
But, anyway, this is a very useful resource, if we release it better this
could be something like the wordpress theme dir
It works! Thank you Jonathan.. ;-)

That's a pity! My tutorial for the creation of a cd database begin to be
more complex but in some way more interesting! :-) There's a tutorial for
the creation of custom widgets? I didn't find much on this topic on the
book. :-/

I think that we could use something like mailman for the mailing list (but I
must say that for now I hadn't problems with google groups) and we should
have also a forum. I don't think that we must necessarily use a forum
software realized in web2py, not immediately at least.
