[web2py] Getting started with appliances for web2py on GAE

Hi my web2py deployment is on app engine. I'm trying to add plug-ins/appliances using the admin area but all I get is an error message: "unable to install application " when trying to upload the package at https://my-app-deployment.appspot.com/admin/default/site Am I uploading in the wrong place?
