Very frustrating start for me with web2py. Can anyone help? Is all of
this really broken in web2py or am I still fighting config issues on my
Debian Wheezy, Nginx, uwsgi machine?

Well, in the interest of trying out the wiki again, I tried to reinstall
web2py from the "source" site download. All went well. I made sure all
was well with permissions (www-data on Debian Wheezy) and with the SSL
stuff including the admin password file. Also the wsgi handler file was

I am very frustrated, I must say. After several weeks of work (and reading
and re-reading all that I have found online), I simply cannot get installed
a working environment. I do now have the latest stable release of web2py
installed along with nginx and uwsgi. That works as a framew
OK. But how do I get the TRUNK downloaded. I installed fresh from
http://web2py.com/examples/static/web2py_src.zip
on the 24th and have the broken code.

I am a new user. With both the 2.9 (stable) and this latest I cannot get
the KPAX cms to run. web2py seems ok and the KPAX installs with no errors.
This is on a Macbook Pro running Yosemite with bundled Python 2.7. Thanks
