Yesterday was my birthday and one of the presents I received was a “Mayberry
Police Department” sweatshirt. My daughter said she found the sweatshirt on
Amazon. You can bet I’ll be wearing that sweatshirt often this Fall.

Wow! Great find, Jeff! I have never seen that photo of Andy and Barney in front
of that newspaper stand. I can't recall ever seeing it in any episode. I'm
eager to hear if anyone else knows.
The link you provided was also very interesting. I learned some new things
about the show. In particular
Recently I caught Jeff's link to an article asking for identification of the
picture with the pictures and racing forms in it. I do believe it is from the
episode, "Mayberry Goes Hollywood, or something like that. It is where they
want to change Mayberry before a movie is filmed there.
