I am also facing same issue, while compiling the newer versions of vpp-ext-deps
ipsec-mb compiles completely, while linking the library build failes.
Do we have to do any clean up to remove any depedency related to that?
please help me with this.

Hi Andy,
Are you using build-root/vagrant ? I do not know how much it is
tested/maintained.
With that in mind, we'd need the whole output to figure out the issue: the
output you gave starts after the initial error so we cannot diagnose anything.
