Hi,
I am using spin-lock for shared resource access(for NAT44 source port
allocation) from multiple cores.
I see clib_spinlock_lock API which is not using MCS locks
I am wondering if VPP has MCS locks support.
I am on VPP ver 18.07.1.
Thanks

Locally we build VPP w/o installing ext deps (e.g., dpdk). This mostly work
fine, and allows us to easily make modifications to these external libraries if
we need to.
Recently I've had issues with the build failing occasionally due to not being
able to find some external library, but only unde

'cpu>corelist-workers' at startup.conf file.
It ends with dead loop in internal_mallinfo(), is there any way to aviod this

Yep, thanks Ed for a detailed comment and my apologies for the spike... When I
catch up with the cherrypicks then it will be hopefully better.
Still tweaking the process...

This has nothing to do with the LF (outside of jobs getting stuck (which I
haven’t seen since the upgrade yesterday)).
The queue has been ballooning and shrinking the last couple of days for a few
reasons:
a. a very large number of 1908 verify and then merge jobs.
b. increase recently in the n
Hello all,
I am observing a VPP crash when approximately 20 - 50 PPPoE clients
are connecting and traffic is flowing through them. This crash was
reproducible every time I tried.
I did some debugging and here is what I could find out so far:

The packet is expected to hit a route corresponding to destination:

Issue:
IDE doesn't know what to do with:
"from framework import VppTestCase, VppTestRunner"
What I tried:
Pointed IDE to use the python-interpreter in ".../vpp/test/run/venv/bin/python"
but that doesn't contain framework in its site-packages etc.
.../vpp/test/doc/overview.rst references a "virtu
