I just downloaded TightVNC 1.2.1 and tried to install it on a machine
with Red Hat 7.1:
rpm -ivh vnc-3.3.3r2+tight1.2.1-1.i386.rpm
I had this error:
file /usr/bin/vncviewer from install of vnc-3.3.3r2+tight1.2.1-1 conflicts
with file from package vnc-3.3.3r2-14
file /usr/share/man/man1/

I run tightVNC viewer from my linux box while the server is windows2000.
Is there a way to make the server screen refresh faster?
Now is very very slow and is almost impossibile to use for example the
browser on the server (that has a speedy internet connection) to download
files

NIC www.thinknic.com has vnc bundled on their internet PC. It cost 199$
US plus monitor.
