I would make sure the same versions are used on both sides. Maybe on the
client side different encoding is used on A and B

Well... I also wrote I can't connect to TridiaVNC server over a web
browser, so I removed it, put back original VNC and presto, back in
business.

If I'm not mistaken TridiaVNC has made some modifications to the original
VNC source code.
