Is there some fundamental incompatibility between VNC and Real's
RealPlayer A/V viewer/player? When I try to view video clips via
Real's software over VNC, I just get a black screen.
And suggestions?

Thank you to those who suggested that the problem was video card
processing (which is invisible to VNC). Fortunately, Real's software
has a switch to turn this processing off. Once I did that (and
restarted the s/w --- the changes don't take effect immediately!) I
was able to view RealPlayer ove

On my version (RealPlayer 8), it's under
View>Preferences>Performance>Video card compatibility
Uncheck the box marked "Use optimized video
Does the usual Windows VNC work with XP? Are there any known (or
epxected) problems. Can I install this as a service under XP?
