I suspect a security problem. If the xterm has no access, it will report so
at the prompt. To remove all X11 security, type `xhost -display +`.

I'm running Xvnc version 3.3.3r2 on a Solaris 2.6. I successfully set
up it with inetd mode and with multiple ports for different X server
resolutions.
Note: I use a script to start Xvnc from inetd.conf and Xvnc has the SGID
