For me, the reason why I like disabling the tray icon is cuz there are too
many icons in my tray!

Yes, the TridiaVNC distro (http://www.tridiavnc.com) and the TightVNC distro
(http://www.tightvnc.com) include a registry key (I believe called
"DisableTrayIcon") which does exactly that when set to "1". Search Tridia's
site for more info.
