I have seen that with my Win2K Pro as well. My solution has been:
1) Disable the screensaver and power savings on the monitor.
2) Do not lock the desktop
That's odd because I use power saving and lock the desktop all the time and
never hit a problem with them.
You can't beat consistent problems.

What is odd though I have a Win2K server with VNC and everything seems to
work fine with that. Granted, I do not use any screen saver or
Connection closed means the two machines are communicating OK, it's just
that the remote machine won't let the connection continue.
Windows 2000 and ZoneAlarm have a whole bunch of issues together (well
documented in the archives) including connection closed, blue screen of
death, etc. Have you
