I haven't tried VNC, but XP seems to come with firewalling enabled.
Disable it or at least allow access to the VN

ability to detect which areas changed.
Two years later. Is there still no solution? No patches?
No WinVNC options? Different version of Internet Explorer (we're
running 4.0).
