I read somewhere in the documentation, that any click in the
windows requests a refresh. It's easier than using the menu and
seems to work under NT. Give it a try, if the application
running has some places where you can click without any action
being performed.

Can anyone who knows how to read the program source files
investigate about the potential bug of "IdleTimeout" being
constantly reset (count down never ends when no input or refresh
request from VNC viewer) by the "Poll Full Screen option",
whereas for other poll options, it works fine and connect
Well ... it doesn't work for me, but the way to proceed is
clearly indicated in the DOCUMENTATION on the VNC site, for each
viewer type. It's just that the system menu or pop-up menu,
depending on your platform doesn't state it clearly. For NT
viewer, for example, the system menu item "Send contr
For the batch file, try to put CALL before the zone alarm line,
as I remember that depending on the program started from the
batch file, then batch file is terminated, unless this command
was used.
So it'd be:
call "c:\Program Files\ZoneAlarm\zonealarm.exe" -nopopup

That's the menu you get by right-clicking on the task bar button
of the open VNC connection.

Can anyone tell me if it's normal that when "Poll Full Screen"
is activated, the connection is never deactivated after
IdleTimeout ?
I tried to look into the source files, but as I expected, it's
far away from Access Visual Basic and I didn't understand
anything.
Can someone tell me if it's want
Hi
Still my IdleTimeout trouble, but I managed to find where the
problem seems to be, likely a Bug.
In the documentation, it says that if no "input events or update
request" during IdleTimeout (seconds), then the connection is
terminated from the WinVNC side. Hence it shouldn't have
anything to
Still no answer to my problem below ...

On the intra-network, often people forget about the connection
they made, and with the number, it slows down a lot the whole
network.
Therefore I wanted to set IdleTimeout to 10 minutes in the
register. It tried on my NT4 laptop (with the .reg file below)
and it works great!! BUT, when I install
