RFB Protocol version

Hi all we are starting to develop a new vnc server&viewer we used documentation provided at vnc home page to implement RFB protocol v3.3 but when we started the vncviewer for windows reported that it uses v3.5 How much is 3.5 diffirent from 3.3?? is there any available documentation about 3.5??
