Your info was helpful, but.
Previously, I had not been able to connect from work to home at all. (home

Have the same question for Windows. Have (I think) set on a windows
machine the server to listen at port 8080 (display# 67716). VNC viewer
connects fine to Ip:73616 or IP:8080, but I can't get the java viewer to
work with either Ip:8080, or IP:73616, or IP:73516. Best I get is with the
IP:8080
My cable access provider has closed port 80, suggests I use 8080. Can you
please give specific directions on how to do that for the VNC server, and
how I would enter the URL in a browser?

I currently have high speed access with cable modem. My provider has
indicated port 80 is closed due to virus's going around, and suggests I look
into using port 8080.
Please tell me specifically how I would do that.
VNC server is running on a Windows 98 2nd ed. machine
