I'm using the zonealarm firewall at home. In order to be able to access my
home PC using VNC over the internet, I had to configure the IP address from
which I was trying to contact my home PC as a local address. After that, I
had no problems. -uf

What type of connection are you using on your home PC? It will be very
difficult to connect unless you have a static IP.

I find that for many sites google.com does a better job than the site's
resident search (if it has one).
