I am not sure I completely sure I understand the question. But, if you are
asking how to share session with windows, I found using the java client works
good, which allows you to view the desktop through a browser, and share it
with multiple people. Hope this helps!

Vnc is user specfic, which is the secure way tot do things. Sound like you have just
been running VNC as a program and have not installit as a service. When VNC is runn as
a service you should always be able to login. At least that was the case when i used
it on NT servers. VNC is not spyware,

Under the Connection Options menu you can set the Scale By option and set it
to 1/2 or 2/3 to shrink the size of the VNC remote window.

I am fairly new to VNC and am trying to set it up so that I can monitor
multiple desktops of help desk staff. I have tried to search the archives

Hi List,
I installed the WINVNC as a service in our server about 4-5 months ago,
which our server is running WinNT 4.0 Server. Everything was fine during
that period. The problem has only happened starting from this February.

Hi,
I'm trying to set VNC 3.3.3R2 up on a Solaris box to run from inetd, this is
tunneled through SSH.
It seems to work fine other that I cannot get rfbauth and my geometry

client to the server always.
I can run from inetd
Hi, Seiji.
You should use the font server for VNC. Here is how to set it up on HP-UX:
First: start the X Font Server
- in /etc/rc.config.d/xfs and set "RUN_X_FONT_SERVER=1". If it's already set
to "1", then you may skip the next step
- execute
/sbin/init.d/xfs start
Second: instruct vnc

This is a known problem with the AT&T viewer.

As you are configuring Xvnc into the inetd configuration, have a look at the
linux configuration. THe Xvnc options to use are the same. Once you're set,
inform the writer with your details so he can update the page.
