Can I add it to VNC add-on?

If people stuck to doing things exactly as described in MSDN, there
wouldn't be problems when MS upgrade the OS. It's been my experience
over the last 7 or 8 years that well written programs rarely, if ever,
break. The problem is that too many programs are not written well.

All I machines use have DHCP for Wins resolution, with DNS Enabled and the
Host Name is the machine name (which CAN NOT be the same as a users log in)
and it works fine (now, Host name = user was the problem I had) just by
entering the machine/host name as the VNC Server:
Hope this helps

I am trying to build Xvnc on an IBM ZX7 that is running SuSSE Linux. I was
able to build the client just fine by just doing xmkmf then make World.
However when I then tried to build Xvnc by doing "cd Xvnc", followed by
"make World" I got some compile errors that I was not sure what to make of.

I'm not sure about this but I had this kind of a problem for diffrent

Simon,
My original thought on your problem is that your xstartup file might be
hard-coding itself to display danu:1? Or, is there already a VNC session
running on danu:1 that it cannot connect to?
I think the problem is not in X itself, but rather making sure you can
start it with -cc 3.

This is a common question for someone just starting to use WinVNC.
to send a alt or ctrl key to the remote host you have to do it in four
steps.
1) Right click on the Window Title section, this will bring up a pop up menu
for you to choose from.
2) Select Alt Down this will be interpreted by t
Hi,
I have looked through the mail archive but did not see any obvious solution
to the problem I am having in generating graphical displays from an
application when using vncserver / viewer.
My setup is as follows. SUN Solaris 2.5.1 machine running vncserver (on
display :1) using Xvnc ver3.3.3r2
unfortunetally, MS's "latest" in general has a nasty habit of breaking
things :(

Hello,
we would like to use VNC to distribute the screen of a presenter PC to several
participants. This is possible with the "-shared" option, but we have two
issues about thisat the moment:
1) Is it possible to route a VNC session through a firewall, e.g. a Web-Proxy?
Is there anyknown attempt
