successfully, on one machine. Then, I manually copied all files from that
machine to another maintaining the same path names. I also found all
registry entries for "vnc" or "orl" and merged them into the second

I see from the archives someone else has had this problem, but I haven't seen
the solution. KDE works fine on my remote server, twm works fine in VNC.
However, when I change xstartup to "startkde", I get a big KDE error message
in VNC saying the spash screen has crashed. An earlier version of KDE
Temp directory is free. I restarted but install shield never runs when
I try to install Winvnc. Would any services running like Norton Anti
Virus cause such a problem. I am trying to install WinVNC to an
exchange server.
