most network admin won't allow vnc connection from outside your domain or
office. this is no no for them.
This would be a security breach.
If you
really need this, setup a vnc server in your front end if you like or allow
vnc connection to pass your firewall. From there you can vnc your workstat
I've just done some testing with UltraVNC and noticed that it doesn't
appear to have a VNC authentication time-out - or at least not less
than 5 minutes. ;)
