I have tight-vnc running on my mom's WinME [DSL] computer 40 miles away.
I have tried various vnc-viewers running here on my Mac. I have
port-forwarding enabled. I am thru DSL Modem to Airport-Extreme Wireless
(vine-viewer / Vnc-Viewer by kedoin / SSVNC /VNC Viewer by Senecal )

I just had my mom install the personal edition and add the license key.
She ran the realvnc server after adding the login password.
Now, from my end, when I use a purchased version of Vine-Viewer to try
and access hers, I get error message that says
Connection Failed: Authentication Failure - No c
Anyone out there know why I would be getting this nearly constantly
today? I am using the Viewer at my end and the Personal edition at the
other end, which used to work rock-solid, is sending this way too many
times in an hour.

How do I lock down the VNC server such that if I am remotely logged in the
desktop of the server is not visible or controllable from the server's
console. I am using WinNT2K for both the client and the server in this
instance, but would be interested in how it works on other platforms as
well.
