Just ran across one I can't figure out while using tightVNCviewer and vi in a terminal window I can't enter the @ character nothing prints. Its as if the key was dead, but it works when I'm not in the vncviewer window. Kind of hard to write perl code with out using the @ character. Any advice mu

To Whom ever can help, When you setup the vncserver the first thing you have to do is run the vncpasswd. Is there a way to set it up so it doesn't require a password but when it receive a request from a viewer it only presents a Login screen then the user would have to have a user login on the s

I think I've found the problem but not sure how to fix it. in /var/adm/X1mesgs I see the following _FontTransSocketINETConnect: Can't connect: errno = 146 failed to set default font path 'tcp/localhost:7100' Fatal server error: this used to work but evidentally no longer does anyone have any advice
