on of which contains the work "RFB"... To exit this program you
need to close the DOS-BOX.
If you get the "RFB" line the TCP is setup correctly.
If not you have something wrong with your TCP/IP setup...

which calls ssh with the correct parameters for you...
Note that this method
they had offered the source, so that we can look at it.

1) encrypt the vnc connections,
2) Tunnel multiple connections over ssh
Then you don't need to open so many ports...

If you receive a couple of lines, one of which has the protocol number (ie.
the text "RFB") then you are talking to the vncserver.

I think you are asking the wrong question
I boot my servers into run level 5, but I don't start XWindows, leaving the
console in text mode. This fullfills the (assumed) purpose of your inquiry,
ie. save the XWindows resources on the server, while allowi

want other applications' hotkeys to work locally. VNC Viewer for Unix
captures all keyboard events when running full-screen.

What configuration am I missing so I can connect directly to each
workspace display 1-4?
