Running vncserver (3.3.6 with no options) on RH8.
Running vnc viewer (3.3.6) on Win XP Pro.
VNC Viewer takes me to a command prompt session on the Linux box and works
well in that session.
How can I get into a GUI (std RH8 thpe) session on the Linux box?
Thanks, George
someone needs to be logged in the server to start
vncserver. Did I miss something?
Assuming the above is true, is there a way to start vncserver automatically

If the above is not a valid assumption, what is the best way?
Thanks in advance.

Will VNC viewer work on Win 95? If so, will VNC viewer on a Win 95 box work
with a VNC server on Win XP (PRO I think)?
I have been told that Win 95 will not talk to (share files with) Win XP.
However, the Win 95 box in question is acting as a connection to the ISP

I hate it when I do that. I know better. I just get
