I put a post on their forum but only got one response .. if anyone here
knows ..
My laptop runs as Server (and viewer .. that is all good). I plug into a
network (without logging in to the network .. just get an IP address).
On this network others running the viewer and attaching to my laptop
it sounds like your problem is that you are behind a firewall (either
personal or router based) which is blocking the connection coming into you
from the internet.
You will need to 'forward' port 5900 to your local ip address. This is
normally handled in the router software.

___
1) Transfer files?
2) Have an indicator for server upon connection. So a message/balloon or ??
indicating to the server that a connection is made. Or even better a 'Do
you want to allow' message.
There are times that you might be working and don't want to allow a
connection ..
thanks

I have been going through the archive and I don't see anywhere any
questions about addition of file transfer. I might of missed it but
..
Is there any thought of putting a 'ftp' like server into VNC.
Possibly as an add on

The file downloads as vnc-40b4-x86_win32.exe. Is it just misnamed or does
the link download the wrong one
