Hey all, I'm totally blind here, so therefore I use a screen reader to
access my PC. And I wanted to know if there are any scripts for JAWS for
windows, or set files for window-eyes for VNC to make it accessible, in
particular, the VNC viewer.

If not, does some variant on the VNC protocol allow such a program to be

bug? And if it's a bug in VNC, why does the
problem occur on non-VNC machines: Microsoft's "explanation" is that it must
be a problem with other apps which inject hook DLL's into running processes.
Does this sound plausible?
Thanks...

Thanks James.
I'm trying to get the Microsoft guy to troubleshoot this issue (which, as you
know is not limited to ActiveX's interactions with VNC). Would you by any
chance have a list of the windows messages which seemed to throw ActiveX into
hysterics in 3.3.7?

Testing the X native server, I've found that I don't get any video

I'd love to code this myself, but my time's pretty limited.
Is anyone else thinking along these lines already?

I've created the file /etc/X2.hosts containing hosts with access for display :5
>From the user appdev --> vncserver :5
Now I can connect from my station to VNC on :5, I can run xclock or other graphical
programs on display :5 as user appdev (not root)
but I have the same error on the log:

Now my question is, since I was so confused by this behavior, does it
make sense to change vncviewer ignore Mod2 key for popup menu?
