Could you tell me why vncserver doesn't support 24bit-per-pixel depth?
Are you going to implement this depth in newer versions of vnc?

Do you mean 24bpp, or depth 24? If you mean depth 24, then all VNC releases
currently support this. If you mean 24bpp then we don't support it because
it's more awkward to code for and is usually slower than 32bpp.
