Anyone else noticed with RealVNC (4.1.1) that it doesn't scroll by a
large enough amount if you click the space inside the scroll bar that
isn't the scroll bar itself (I'm not sure what this area is called!).
This is inconsistent to the way other windows scroll bars operate.

Actually the key here is that the feature you describes only works if you're
using Windows Messenger - it sounds like they use that (which connects to a
central site) to tell the machines to connect to each other, i.e. as the
mediation server.
This sounds to me like a potential source of s
Lou,
I'm glad to hear that the Linux build works on FreeBSD. Does that require
any special Linux-compatibility libraries on the system?
With respect to the module - which X server does your FreeBSD system use for
its console (XFree86 3, XFree86 4, Xorg, etc...)?

Paul,
As I stated in my previous mail, you should try the VNC 4 viewer & server.
The version of the SUSE XFree86-Xvnc package is the package version and does
not relate to the version of Xvnc that it contains.

Ok so I understand the uses of this feature, as a newbie, I have figured
that in default viewer mode it is the settings (Options > Inputs) that sets

There are various remote VNC installations programs out there. VNCScan

Thomas,
On your RedHat distribution disks you should find a libc6 compatibility
package (probably called something like libc-compat or similar) - installing
this will allow the standard VNC package to install.
The problem is that we build on a very old system, specifically so that our
binaries wi

www.rpmfind.net is your friend. Plug in the exact file you need and it will
list the RPM you need to download and install. Or you can just issue the
command "up2date vnc-server vnc" and it should get all the prerequisites for
you.

What you can do is forward port 5900 on the router to PC#1, port 5901 to

rather confusing!

Hi Steve!
I'm sure it depends on which router you have, but the way I accomplish this
with our Linksys router is on the Applications and Gaming tab, under UPnP
