I have a Mac at home and my aunt, living 60 miles away, has a Mac in
her apartment. Both of us are on broadband, using different ISPs. I'd

Is anyone aware of a GPL'd commandline VNC password hash tool? I'm looking
for the same functionality as vncpasswd on Windows; it looks theoretically
straightforward to port the vncpasswd C source to Windows, but my C++ skills
are so limited that I'm finding it a struggle to do.

Okay - there *might* just be a problem with this method if you use a
firewall. I hope I'm wrong and it's easily solved :)

i'm using both free and pro version of zonealarm, and have NO problem at all
using vnc in server or client mode ! (WinXP Pro, ICS and the works)

I'm running vnc 4 on windows and a vnc 4 server on linux
I'm also running vncconfig with all the boxes checked in the little window.
I'm running on an xfxe3 desktop.
I'm having a real hard time trying to characterize this problem
since it is inconsistent.

getting o
