VNC on large monitors

Im having problems connecting from an XP Pro PC with a screen res of 1280x1024 to a W2K PC with a screen res of Dual portrate both at 1200x1600, is it possible as every time I try to connect I get Connection Closed as soon as I click OK after entering VNC password. I have tried it using 3.3.3R9

Numlock weirdness in 4.0 Beta 5

I am experiencing strange behavior with the numeric keypad in Beta5. When VNC comes up, the numlock is off. I hit the numlock key and the light comes on but the keypad is still sending Home/End/PGup/PGDn, etc. I see this behavior in most applications. However, numlock works as expected in openof

If you only have 1 vncserver session it would be at 5901. However, I belive that you point your browser at 5801, which is the associated webserver for that display. I assume you are planning on using the java client. Be advised that my experience is mostly with tightvnc rather than realvnc, so I

First question, I have VNC set up on my network as my primary remote system, the only way I know of so far to set it up is set up port forwarding on my router to forward to one specific IP address, so when I connect over the internet I put in the public IP of my network and connect to only that one
