I have VNC Server 3.3.7.0 installed on a windows server 2003. A user is connecting using the VNC client of the same version. Frequently the VNC Server on the 2003 machine causes an error and crashes the VNC server. The windows 2003 event log reads: Faulting application winvnc.exe, version 3.3.7.0,

Set the properties of the VNC server to re-start after a one minute wait. Works for me. Something else that might help. VNC server on Windows 2003 does not seem to want to release memory allocated to it at log off so the user profile does not unload. The brilliant cure to this issue lives at:
