Hi, I've recently upgraded to Fedora and VNC viewer 4.0b4. When I connect using that and others connect using VNC viewer 3.3.3r2, they can see my mouse movements but I cannot see theirs. In other words, they move the mouse all around their screen but on my screen, the mouse stays stationary.

I'm new to using VNC. I have the server installed on a WindowsXP Home system. I can run a viewer and see the log-in screen with the various users. When a user logs-in, the screen then goes black. If a request a screen refresh, it doesn't change anything - still black. Any advice? Mike __

Disable Local Cursor rendering in your viewer - this will force the server to send the pointer image, so that it will reflect where the actual cursor is. Your local cursor will then be a small "dot" cursor. The behaviour in this case will be improved in the next release of VNC 4. Cheers, Wez @
