Thanks William. This is Comcast using a Motorola SB5100. Unfortunately I do not have access to the modem to research it more thoroughly, but from what I can tell, it may provide DHCP server capabilities. It gets an IP address from Comcast (24.60.195.x), but the PC has a DHCP assigned address of 19

I'm starting the vnc server on one win 2000 machine and using the viewer on another win 2000 machine. I have no problem to ping the server. When starting the vnc viewer, after typing in the password, there's a window flashing for a split second, then disappeared. I don't know what's going on. A
