After getting the system working well I find I need to transfer some files
from the server to the viewer. Is there a way to do this?
Thanx for your help.

I just found ultravnc and have done a little file transferring with success.
The next challenge is to transfer some video in real time. This is the output
of a WinTV board connected to some security cameras. Can anyone help?
Thanx.

run a "dialup" (as in it's really ADSL) connection as a service in
Windows XP?
I can, of course, run my VNC server of choice on it... but this does not

then use some tool to get it going. (or open a website on startup)
this one gives you a DNS name also: NO-IP DUC http://www-no-ip.com
able to run as service, and can be set to autodail...

I don't need a DNS name for the machine in question, but if it doesn't
demand to do this, I might well consider it. Ho
