I've asked for your enhancement more than half a year ago, but there's no
answer. So I suppose it's not in any plan to implement it ..

It has been a good while since I have been current with versions of vnc. I
am wondering if there is now a version(of any flavor) which allows
protection of the connect password in the service helpers interface.
Thanks in advance,

Two things both listening to same port comes to mind. Double access
to frame buffers, should slow thing down
The other day, someone was looking for a way
to run on arbitrary ports, and while i suggested
SSH, they were told ultraVNC does this..
But i cant find that feature anywhere.. ( aside
from the fact its just win32 )...
Am i blind, or was the info misleading.
Only reason im curious, is i lik
I have done this a few times with different versions of pcanywhere, and I
have not encountered any problems.
Personally, I would use the pcanywhere on the dialup, since its easier to
configure than vnc is in that situation.
Has anybody had any problems running vnc and pcanywhere at the same time?

Hi!
All entries in the list concerning my pcAnywhere question are quite old and refer to
older
pcAnywhere versions, for this reason I ask this question again:
Is it possible to have both not only installed but work similarly:

I think VNC is great, but having a problem.
I'm adminsitrating a small network were all the users login as Name
="work(number)"
This limits how much they can do to their Windows 2000 professional
terminals (and stops them playing games).
If I want to install patches or make any big changes, then
No, that may be the issue, I think maybe it used to be configured tp
start font server as default
but now is not, how would I check?

Sounds very complicated, and it is not very secure. Have you considered
using a tunnel, either SSH or Zebedee?
I personally use OpenSSH (the 'lexa' package), although if you're new to all
this, Zebedee may be easier. All software is free (at least as in 'beer',
if not in 'speech'). I have the

Hmm... I haven't run into that issue... I work with applications that draw
