Hi,
I've a problem. I would like to integrate vnc in a videoconferencing

Hi Carl,
I solved the problem by myself modifying the source code to disable

It's not the best way, but it orks exactly the way I wanted to.
I also midified the viewer to force it listen on port 9500 (randomly
choosen).
To make it work, run SSH on the VNC server part (which is the

Hi all. I am running Real VNC 3.3.6 on a Windows NT machine. When I
connect to the server from another computer here at the office I have no
problems at all. However, when I login to our network remotely, using
secure remote, I try to connect to the server, and after I supply the

Sylvian,
Glad you have it working. I struggled with the SSH & VNC at first but it
works very well.
To use the viewer with port 9500 you just have to fill the address like:
localhost:9500 or change it in the registry. Is that what you meant by
"modifying". There's not need to modify the code.

Recently, our department upgraded hardware for our RedHat 8.0 proxy server. This
involved a new hard drive configuration. Therefore, we had to reinstall RedHat 8.0,
as well as VNC. Since then, I cannot get either KDE or Gnome to work properly with
VNC. We are using VNC 3.3.6.
Jeff,
Yes there is.
With SSH (recommended for over the internet):
1. You assign the SSH port on each machine. By default SSH is on port 22,
so you can use 23, 24, 26, etc. Just be careful with port 21 & 25.
2. Then let VNC Server use the default port (display 0, port 5900).
3. Forward each port
Andy, I tried sending this to the email address on your note but it bounced

I have already received the solution.
There were two problems. One with the RealVNC instructions on the web site.
The ssh client should be launched with this command:

Dario,
I think this software might solve ( http://www.calstatela.edu/eaglevision

Heya. There's two ways of doing what you want to do. The
most straightforward is to adjust the port-forwarding rules in
your firewall. Just point external TCP port 5900 to PC#1's port
5900 on your LAN, external 5901 to PC#2's 5900, external 5902
to PC#3's 5900, etc. This way, all of t
