That you can figure out pretty easy - your service should be running and
firewall should allow connection. There is plenty of information on
configuring RD on the net.

I was in under impression that Real VNC doesn't work on Windows 7 and Tiger
VNC does. Are you sure Tiger VNC doesn't work on Windows 7?

You could try u...@vnc (http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/) - it's a
Windows-only version, and a quick glance at the forums suggests tha
C works on
Windows Vista, but I don't have a budget for that.
Thanks!

Hi Estela,
VNC Enterprise Edition currently supports Windows Vista, and the upcoming
4.3 release of this and VNC Personal Edition will improve this support. VNC
Free Edition does not currently support Windows Vista.

Does this work on Vista? As a VNC rookie, I have it up and running on my XP
machines but on Vista it does even seem to open. Says it's running in the
background but doesn't show up in Sys Tray or Task Mgr.

When will there be a version of the free RealVNC that will automatically
start at bootup in Windows Vista like it did in XP? I see that the personal
and enterprise versions do but the free version is still not able to.

*Session 0 Isolation*: Previous versions of Windows ran system
services in the same login session as the locally logged-in user

Dear RealVNC:
I am currently beta testing Windows Vista Beta 2 release 5384 and RealVNC for
Windows free edition version 4.11. Installation went without error, and I can
connect from the Vista system to any of our local computers; but Vista blocks
incoming connections. Changing individual
